Today I finally posted the picture of the log home we are going to build. This is only the basic design. The kitchen & dining room will be moved to the other side of the house. The floor plan is going to be changed around to meet our needs and to fit some of our furniture we have. Yesterday we checked out the Boat doctor for docks and got some good ideas. We also went to the Fireplace store to check out stoves & fireplaces as well as the Home Depot for brochures of flooring, Cabinets, Counter tops, Tubs & Showers

Log home design

Hello again, yesterday Patti & I decided on the final design it is going to be like the Shoreham log home we saw. It has some major changes from the Bristol III design, It's sort of flipped around. Pictures are to follow soon. Hopefully today we will get a chance to go to the property and run the dogs.

Land Purchase

Hello Everyone this is my Patti standing on the frozen lake where our proposed boat dock will be. Notice the Island in the background. We have 52' of Lake frontage. We closed on the property March 15, 2007. As of today we can see bare ground and have a better idea of how it will look when finished. Patti & I signed a agreement on the purchase of a log home kit, and are finalizing the layout so the plans can be drawn. More pictures to follow. Right now we are getting prices on everything we will need to get started. We are both excited and can't wait to show everyone our progress.
